A Little Something.

Greetings, readers!

It's WR.  DW is very busy, what with the finishing up of the Vocology Institute and the completion of final projects and papers and the saying goodbye to new friends and the packing and the flying to Santa Fe (and getting delayed and bags getting lost) and the spending time with old friends and the going to the opera and such.  I'll let him tell you all about it mid-week, sometime, when he'll have more free time to write.

For now, though, enjoy these Japanese commercials.  Because they're awesome.

Nissin Cup Noodle Ad:  The English subtitles should already be active, but if they aren't... click the "Subtitle" or "CC" button near the bottom right corner of the window, and select "English" as your language.  Understanding what they're saying makes the commercial much funnier.

Stadium Ad:  Hilarious.  (Should also already have subtitles, but if it doesn't... the same rules for the previous video should work.)

CUTE CAT AD:  I honestly don't know what this is for, but there's a huge series of these commercials, with a cat and his kitten son going on trips together.  It's flipping adorable.  And the writers make Japanese cat-speak by replacing words like "naruhodo" ("I see.") with "nyaaruhodo" (nyaa is the Japanese sound for meow).  I love it.

We'll be back with a real post later in the week!

Thanks!
WR
